Yes — balloon safaris are popular add-ons (advance booking required). Availability depends on season and weather.

Is the road travel tiring?

Road transfers are scenic but involve multi-hour drives across the Rift Valley. We can reduce road time by adding scheduled domestic flights (available at extra cost).

Are children welcome?

Day 01 :

Arrival in Nairobi (overnight in Nairobi)

Arrive Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO). MOUTI meet-and-greet, transfer to your Nairobi hotel for rest and overnight (B&B). Prepare paperwork and briefing for the tour departure.

Day 02 :

Nairobi → Amboseli (afternoon game drive)

After breakfast depart Nairobi and drive to Amboseli National Park (scenic Rift Valley approach). Arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon introductory game drive — look for elephant families, zebra and grazing herbivores with Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. Dinner and overnight at an Amboseli lodge.

Day 03 :

Full day Amboseli

Early morning drive for prime photographic light and animal activity; mid-morning return to lodge for brunch. Optional guided nature walk (where allowed) or rest. Late-afternoon game drive exploring other park sectors. Overnight at lodge.

Day 04 :

Day 4 — Amboseli → Lake Nakuru (game drive)

After breakfast depart via the Rift Valley escarpment to Lake Nakuru National Park. Afternoon game drive around Nakuru — view rhinos, waterbuck and abundant birdlife; visit viewpoints such as Baboon Cliff if time permits. Dinner and overnight near the park.

Day 05 :

Lake Nakuru → Maasai Mara (afternoon game drive)

Optional early morning drive in Nakuru for additional birding, then depart for Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive across the Mara’s rolling plains. Overnight at a Mara lodge or luxury tented camp.

Day 06 :

Full day Mara & return to Nairobi

Early-morning game drive for predator activity; return to lodge for breakfast and check-out. Drive back to Nairobi (or arrange a scheduled domestic flight from the Mara airstrip to Nairobi to save time — ask us to quote a flight supplement). Drop off at your Nairobi hotel or airport late afternoon/early evening.
